  1. Yes i still kept my same book called Tears of A Tiger by Sharon M Draper. I chose to keep this because in the first couple of pages i felt like I could relate to the characters because they are in high school. I dont get a chance to read very often nor do i really enjoy it, I only really read unless I have to for school. If i were to have to read a book I would most likely choose a spots book.

  2. I kept my book from when I first started the title is No Safety In Numbers by Dayna Lorentz. I chose this because the I enjoy trading the genre and also I liked the thought of them trying to problem solve around an issue within their community. I like to read I just have to find the time and be in the right mood for it. When I was younger my favorite was definitely Diary of a Wimpy kid series. I just really enjoyed the book style and the story behind it.

  3. I kept the book from Blog 1, Tokyo Heist by Diana Renn, and I chose to keep it because I read some of the book, about 45-50 pages, and it captured my interest.

I like to read realistic fiction books because I can envision the scenarios in my head pretty well, and enjoy translating words into pictures.

I enjoyed reading the book, "Where the Red Fern Grows" written by Wilson Rawls because it reminded me of something I used to do with my dogs, which was going on adventures, however mine were never as extravagant as the one from the story.

  4. Totally changed from the Giver to Night by Ellie Wiesel, I still can't get hooked into the book, it just isn't interesting to me. When it comes to reading I am absolute booty, I hate it. The types of stories that interest me would have to be the ones that have a realistic plot to them. I feel that this is because my brain knows it isn't true and can't follow it due to lack of facts.

  5. Yes, I am reading the same book from blog one. I am reading W.A.R.P: The Reluctant Assassin by Eoin Colfer. I chose to keep it because I really enjoyed reading the first 2 chapters.

I like reading because I like getting lost in the book but I don't really have time to read. A book that I really enjoyed in the past is Conspiracy 365. It's about a guy that gets framed for shooting his uncle and his sister and he is on the run trying to clear his name. I enjoy to read mystery books.

  8. Yes, I kept the book I initially had in blog 1. My book is called Rose Under Fire by Elizabeth Wein. I chose to keep it because I am fascinated with WWII and the main focus of the book is from a concentration camp. I always love hearing new sides of this part of history but it saddens me at the same time.

Mi nombre es Michael. What kind of reader am I? Garbage. Yeah you may find me reading here and there. Posted up reading a cereal box. Sometimes reading the Brewers stats after the game. I have the fluency of a toddler on crack. I have the will to pick up the book as a fat man does to exercise. I honestly have the reading ability of Harambe. Reading is plain boring to me unless its Packers or sports history. I have a few select books I've enjoyed in the past. Conspiracy 365, Magic tree house, Clifford, or any of the Dr. Suess classics. Anywho, I look forward to talking about this book for the next few weeks.

  10. Yes, I kept the book I started reading. The book is called The Time Machine by H.G. Wells. The reason I kept the book was because the dialogue between the characters is very well written and it makes you wanna read more. I enjoy reading, but I never feel like I have time for it. 30. Yes I did keep my book from the 1st blog The House of Hades by:Rick Riordan. I kept this book because it's a very interesting book because it has 7 different perspectives which is going to be confusing because they tell different parts of the same story to come together. So you should focus on certain parts of the story at a time so that it makes sense instead of skipping to different sceneries and things.
I'm Tiffany and I like reading but I don't like reading everyday. I like reading at times when I feel like I have nothing else to do. Reading is a very calming thing for me I'm not to sure if it's like that for other people. I've read most of Rick Riordan's books because they are very fun to read. I would say I’m a decent reader, it’s very hard to find books that grab my attention and keep me committed to it. I feel that if I don’t find it so interesting that I can’t put it down I become more prone to not reading but doing something else entirely. If I have a book that I can’t put down and can’t wait to have the time to read I do wish I’d have more time for it but I have a lot more time on my hands and neglect to read. I do love this book very much but I seem to always want to do anything but read, don’t get me wrong I love to read but I don’t know it just doesn’t really feel the same I guess.
Some type of books that I find to be very interesting is fantasy, romance or horror. With the book I’m reading it kind of has all three genres bundled up together which I like very much. Some books that I have read and enjoyed would probably be the City of Bones, City of Ashes, The Lovely Reckless, and Nightshade. The reason I like these particular genres are because they enlighten the imagination and make you think. By doing this I think it becomes a pretty big attention grabber.

    2. I have read the first two books in the Percy Jackson series, I have also read another book my Rick Riordan, however I cannot remember the name at this moment in time. I love anything to do with Greek Mythology so I very much enjoyed those books, it opens your mind to different possibilities like how instead of Heaven and Hell they have the Underworld that is ruled by Hades who was banished to the Underworld by his two brothers Zeus and Poseidon. It seems kind of cruel to send good people to the Underworld because there isn't a Heaven to go to but that's how it works. However, in Egyptian myth the god Ammut was the god who decided weather you go to the afterlife or not by weighing your heart with her feather. If your heart was heavy you would proceed into the afterlife, but if your heart is heavy she would eat you.

  32. I am still reading The Witch and The Wizard by James Patterson. So far I enjoy the book more than I expected. The book takes place in a modern dystopian world with bits of fantasy sprinkled in and it makes a interesting story dynamic. It is not simply a Harry Potter story, but instead dives deep into real world issues like government corruption and dictatorships.

I personally love reading, but I don't do it often. I have trouble putting a book down once I have started so I end up finishing a book in a day or two leaving me in search of another book. Eventually I read all the books that are on my list and I am then stuck without anything to read. Though, one of my favorite book series that I have read would be the Eye of Minds series by James Dashner who is the same author who wrote the Maze Runner books. It is a great series that looks into a possible future of virtual reality and artificial intelligence.

I am a kinda slow kinda fast reader I hate reading I really dont like to sit down and read a book. I have never got bored at home and just said oh lets just read a book. 34. Yes I kept my book from blog #7, and it's called Darkly Dreaming Dexter by Jeff Lindsay. I decided to keep this book because I really liked the TV series so I thought to read the book to see how they compare. I'm not the best reader I sometimes have trouble keeping focused unless it's something that i'm really interested in. I don't mind reading but its not my favorite thing, I usually prefer to watch movies instead if I had the choice. When I was younger I really liked all of the Percy Jackson books, I also read the Shining recently which was pretty good but I kinda lost interest a couple times since it was a longer book. And I mostly like fiction books because I just find them more interesting and I just lose focus and interest on non fiction books.

  38. Yes I kept the original book I had chosen which is "Juve" by Steve Watkins. I decided to keep this book because once I read about the first 25 pages it wasn't making me bored. It was pretty straight to the point and not one of those books that takes forever to get to the action. I would say my reading attention-span is really short and I get bored really easily. I would say the older I got the less I read. I use to read so much in elementary and middle school, I wish I had more time to do this again. I really don't have a specific kind of books I enjoy I'm very open to them as long as I find it interesting.

I use to be a big reader, but ever since I started high school, I've stopped reading. I can never find any books, and if I do, they never keep my attention.
I'm not extremely picky about the genre of the book, but I generally enjoy reading fantasy the most.

  40. Yes I kept my book, The book is called "Witch and Wizard" by James Patterson. The reason why I kept this book was because I enjoy reading books that have some mystery in and there is always something interesting to read on each page and I enjoy how Patterson puts description in his books. I am not much of a reader I enjoy seeing movies over reading books because I cannot picture what exactly is going on no matter how much detail is in the book. I dislike reading because most books do not stay on the same topic. The book that I liked the most that I read in middle school was Percy Jackson Sea of monsters. I like mystery books more than any other genre.

I particularly like to read, very select books though I can’t just pick up any book and read. My favorite series is the Fablehaven series by Brandon Mull, a fantasy book. With that, my favorite genre is fantasy because I think that’s where and author can use the most of their imagination. And I’ve always thought mythical creatures and things of that sort were cool.

I used to read a lot but since I began high school I just have not had the time to read anymore. 44. I decided to keep my book that I chose. The book that I picked was "THEM" by William W. Johnstone. the reason why I kept this book is because the start of the book had an interesting start and it had a hard hook on revenge and hatred. My thoughts on reading is that reading is kind of boring but it does create some interesting situations. I have a tough time keeping my interest in a book because if I'm just going to sit around for a long period of time and do something I'd rather take a nap or listen to music. Reading should be mostly informative so people can learn real information to get smarter. However I do enjoy reading certain horror books. I read a number of books in middle school that I enjoyed but over time I stopped caring about reading.

I’m Augustine, but you guys can call me Augie if you want to :) I don’t really read much, but when I do it’s usually just to cure my boredom, or if I’m really interested in the book.

I think reading is a great way to enhance your learning and it helps you to understand the book especially from a character’s point of view. I sometimes like reading, but I do wish I had more time to find new books to read because I know there are plenty of amazing books out there.
There’s this one book I got in middle school that I got to keep which was called Revel by Maurissa Guibord. Particular works I can think of enjoying are the original “Warriors” series in my middle school years (whoop-dee-doo, middle school cat phase) and the “Odd Thomas” series by Dean Koontz. I like mysteries and character-centered stories that have a good pace.
