Blog #12 - Book Club Response #6 (Large Group Discussion)

BOOK CLUB Blog #6: Large Group Discussion Part 1: Review last week's Large Group Discussion post and check to see which two categories you posted from your discussion notes. This week you will share the OTHER TWO categories from Section 2. Copy and paste each into the blog, being sure to clearly label which type of response it is (Summary, Characters, Author's Craft, Overall Impressions). Part 2: Reply to your group. BOOK CLUB Blog #5: What Do Other Readers Think About Your Book? Part 1: Go to the Goodreads site and find your book. Read through your book's reviews. BEWARE of ones that suggest they have SPOILERS (this means that they give away important details or the ending). Part 2: Find a review that you can disagree with... a point of view or perspective that you find to be untrue or inaccurate. Copy enough of the text to your blog comment to clearly show the reviewer's perspective. Be sure to include a name and date added & include quotes around their words. Part 3: Explain your issues with the post. What has the reviewer stated that you find fault with? Why do you feel this way?

BOOK CLUB Blog #2: Online Discussion Part 1: Did you keep the book you shared in Blog #1? a. Yes? State the title & author again and explain why you chose to keep it. b. No? List the new title & author and explain why you changed your book. Part 2: Introduce yourself to your group. What kind of reader are you? a. What are your thoughts on reading? Like? Dislike? Wish that you liked it? Wish you had more time for it? b. Are there any particular books that you have read and enjoyed? What types of stories do you usually like? Why? Part 3: REPLY to EACH of your new group members. Use Control F to find their names and then find something to thoughtfully respond to in each post.
